CONNECTED ENGINEERING

Custom Tekla software that applies your expertise.

Rebuilding the same components, transferring properties and checking outputs takes time and attention. Tekniq develops custom software for Tekla Structures that connects these recurring steps to the rules of your product.

TEKNIQ / SOFTWARE IN PRACTICE
01

From geometry to interaction

A plugin must create valid components and be practical to use. We combine geometry, product settings and model interaction, including Direct Manipulation where appropriate. Dimensions, reinforcement, openings and connections follow the agreed rules.

02

Work with existing models

We start with your current Tekla workflow, sample models and settings. Our experience includes timber walls, sandwich panels, steel frames and balconies. The design also considers editing, rerunning the software and the outputs you need.

03

The bridge to online configuration

Tekla expertise underpins our online configurators. When product choices start in a browser, we develop the appropriate translation into engineering in Tekla. The same product knowledge can support configuration, detailing and production preparation.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Before we get started.

Can you automate an existing manual task?

Yes, that is a common starting point. Show us your current process, the inputs you use and what correct output looks like. Together we define the boundaries, exceptions and test cases.

How is the custom software validated?

Using representative models, expected results and scenarios covering changes and exceptions. The Tekla version and working environment are part of that agreement. A working demo does not replace checking your final outputs.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Let’s make it work.

Tell Tim about your product, your current workflow and the output you need. Together we can define a practical next step.
