CONNECTED ENGINEERING

The model is ready. Keep production moving.

A model’s value also lies in what gets made from it. Tekniq develops outputs and integrations that bring information from Tekla to the people and machines on your factory floor.

TEKNIQ / SOFTWARE IN PRACTICE
01

Understand the receiving process first

A production file is useful only if the receiving system processes its data correctly. We map required properties, units, component organisation and file conventions. Your existing outputs and the specification of the machine or production software are the starting point.

02

Drawings, data and machine control

Depending on the process, the output may be production drawings, component schedules, geometry or machine-control data. Tekla is the engineering foundation. Exports are tailored to your product and the way you manufacture, check and handle its components.

03

From browser choice to manufacturable component

An online configurator can be the first step in this route. We develop the translation from configuration into Tekla and then into production outputs. Integrations are not identical across every configurator: the required data and outputs are specified for each application.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Before we get started.

Can you integrate with our machine?

We assess this using the machine details, available interface or file specification and sample files. We can then determine a feasible integration and how to validate its outputs together.

Is Revit an output destination?

The production route runs through Tekla to production and machinery. Our existing Revit-to-Tekla application concerns supplying model information to Tekla.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Let’s make it work.

Tell Tim about your product, your current workflow and the output you need. Together we can define a practical next step.
